Air conditioning is a sealed system. If it is low on refrigerant, refrigerant went somewhere. A recharge without leak detection is a temporary fix that fails again in weeks — and refrigerant is not cheap. We pressure-test and use electronic leak detection and UV dye to locate the actual failure point first.

Common symptoms

• Musty smell when you turn it on. Typically the evaporator or a long-overdue cabin filter.
